Held in support of Safe Haven Equine Warriors (SHEW), this race brings together animal lovers, runners, and families to raise awareness and funds for equine rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming.
About SHEW
Safe Haven Equine Warriors is a Maryland-based nonprofit dedicated to the humane treatment of all equines. Their mission is rooted in compassion and expertise, providing rescue, rehabilitation, and lifelong advocacy for horses who have suffered neglect, abuse, or abandonment. SHEW also leads educational outreach to promote responsible horse ownership and equine welfare.
